A new farm and family history for Hadsel in Vesterålen is being planned. In December, it was decided that NOK 300,000 should be set aside for this work and efforts are now underway to engage a person to start work on the family history.
Karl Sørmo, chairman of the Rural History Board, tells Vesteraalens Avis that he doesn't want to speculate on when the entire book will be completed.
