In 1922, only 13,080 car owners were registered, but the number grew rapidly. From 1922 to 1925, the number of car owners in Oslo\/Kristiania increased by around 40 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The number of car owners then doubled over the next decade in the capital. In Norway's car book from 1935, almost 11,000 car owners are registered as resident in Oslo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Car books are not the first source genealogists turn to, but they are a fun way to add a little spice to your family history.
