MyHeritage user Delbert Ritchhart from San Diego, California is an avid genealogist. Despite making multiple genealogy breakthroughs over the years, there was still a big open question when it came to Del’s Great-great grandparents from Ireland. It was through a MyHeritage DNA match that Del was able to get the answers that he’d been looking for.
Del grew up in Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado before entering the Navy.

The international community of adoptees has welcomed this project with open arms and helped spread the word to increase its reach. Emotional stories of adoptions and of families who placed children in adoptive care have poured in.

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, we’d like to highlight just what it takes to be a #StrongMom. Moms are some of the most exceptional people we know. They inspire us to be our best selves, exhibit bravery in the face of difficulties, instill in us the values they hold dear, and show us their unconditional love.
You asked for it, and we developed it for you! This week, we released a Pedigree View mode for family trees, created in response to popular demand from our users. Many users considered the Pedigree View as their most wanted feature on MyHeritage, so we are delighted to fill this need.
A Pedigree View includes a root person and his/her ancestors.
