This week sees the launch of a new payment database from the Australian Ancestry.com.au. The database is searchable and contains information on 14.9 million births, deaths and marriages in Australia dating back to 1788. Like many other commercial databases, it is completely free to search, but if you want to study the search results more closely, you have to pay.
