About Prisoners in Östersund 1810-1900
Here you can search through all persons who were imprisoned in Östersund during the period 1810-1900. The city is located in Jämtland County and was under Norwegian rule from the end of the 12th century until it was ceded to Sweden in the Treaty of Brömsebro in 1645.
The collection shows you the first and last names of the inmate, as well as their place of residence, year of imprisonment, and the reason for their imprisonment.
More than 600 prisoners during this period were Norwegians.
