Yesterday, the council unanimously agreed to spend nearly NOK 9 million on revising the local history books for Surnadal. The new set of local history books will comprise a total of nine volumes, and the work will be led by Lars Polden.

Village book author Harald Langmyhr has been persuaded to appeal against the Court of Appeal's loss verdict. Langmyhr first won in the district court and then lost in the court of appeal. Now the author and his ex-wife will meet in the Supreme Court to decide the fate of the "new" village book "Nok innmark til ei ku".
