In recent years, Norwegian descendants of Hugo Køhler have tried to find out whether his last words were true or not. On his deathbed in May 1945, surrounded by his family, he told them that he was really Johan Orth. Not only did he make this revelation, but he also asked his family to claim the castle in Austria.
