Due to the poor financial situation in Hole municipality, the next edition of Hole bygdebok in Buskerud is now in doubt. The councilor has now proposed that the general village history be postponed until 2011, which will save the municipality NOK 500,000 this year.
The municipality needs to hire both a cultural manager and a community book author this year, but only has a budget for one month's salary for one of them. If things go as the councilor wishes, the village book author will not be hired until next year, but the chairmanship wants to hire the village book author on December 1.
