Kongsberg launches digital history book

As one of the largest industrial enterprises in the country, many people naturally have ancestors who have been associated with the silver works at Kongsberg to one degree or another. At its peak, 4,000 men worked simultaneously at the mines, which were in active operation from 1623-1958. Kongsberg Municipality is now launching a digital history book to mark 400 years since the town was founded.
