The last time village books were published in Kvinesdal in Agder was in the 1960s and 1970s. The books were written by Ånen Årli and consisted of a total of three volumes. Now Kvinesdal municipality, in collaboration with Kvinesdal Historielag, has launched "Folk og heim - Fjotland 1 Busetnadshistorie"."
