Over the past seven years, Jørn Olsen has immersed himself in considerable amounts of archival material, which will soon result in a 260-page book of family history from Eidanger.
The author is of Eidanger descent and has been interested in his own family since the late 1990s. In his work, he gradually discovered that the material could be expanded to include more than his own family.
He has mainly used church books, various censuses and probate records in his work on the new family history. However, Olsen has also made use of C. S. Schilbred's «Farm and family history for Eidanger» which was published in 1984.
