More and more genealogy applications are being developed for iPhone and iPad. In its May issue, the e-magazine Slektsnytt (then Vikingroots) reported that there were 12 applications for iPad and 56 for iPhone. Now, four months later, the figure is 24 for iPad and 69 for iPhone.
One of the applications that has been launched in the last four months is "Tombfinder". Here you can search for headstones and/or contribute by taking a photo with your iPad or iPhone and sending it to the database. There is currently only a free version, which is a well-known sales trick in the Appstore, but if we are to believe the developer, there will eventually be a more comprehensive paid version.

Tombfinder is currently quite limited, but then the world is also big. Currently, there is only information from cemeteries in the United States, with the exception of "Cimitero Comunale Monumentale Campo Verano" in Rome, Italy.
