Arrested after police checked DNA against 23andMe and Ancestry

Christopher Lovrien (inset) has now been charged with the murder of Mark Dribin, after police tested DNA from the crime scene against Ancestry.com and 23AndMe.

It started with the arrest of the Golden State Killer after American police began using genealogists' submitted DNA in their hunt for criminals. Now they've made another arrest using genealogists' submitted DNA.
