250 years of Danish-Norwegian colonial history from the US Virgin Islands moves to the National Archives

The colonial history of the US Virgin Islands, spanning 250 years of Danish-Norwegian colonial rule, is now moving to the Danish National Archives. On November 1, the website virgin-island-history.org, which has been an important resource for research and documentation of this history, will close. Due to technological limitations in the search function, those responsible have decided to reorganize the material to make it more accessible to the public and researchers.
