Genealogy on Swedish TV

"Sveriges Television" is next month ready to start the Swedish edition of "Alt for Norge", naturally called "Allt för Sverige". In contrast to our 12 participants, the Swedes have decided to include 10 Americans with Swedish ancestry in their version of the popular program. The host is Anders Lundin (pictured).

According to MyHeritage's Swedish representative, Sara, in 1900 Chicago was the city in the world with the most Swedes after Stockholm.

Although we're ahead of the Swedes when it comes to the program series "Alt for Norge", they're way ahead of us when it comes to the program series "Hvem tror du at du er?". The Swedish edition "Vem tror du att du är?" is already well underway with season four! The Swedish series has gathered between 700,000 and 1,000,000 Swedes in front of the screen for each episode.
