This book is the first volume in a series that will cover the farm and family history of the former municipalities of Høvåg and Vestre Moland. Volume 1 contains the first 14 farm numbers in Høvåg, from Kornbrekke up to and including Kalland. It tells the story of each farm and the people who have lived there, from around 1600 to the present day. The book is very richly illustrated with around 500 photos from both older and more recent times.Terje Sødal is a senior lecturer in history at the University of Agder, and a rural history book author in Lillesand municipality.
