The working group, which consists of around 20 people, has decided that the trip to the printers with the new edition will not take place until the goal of 20,000 names has been reached.

Most of the genealogies should now be complete in the new book, and even though the groundwork has been done, there is still some work to be done.

Lars Hapalahti, chairman of the committee, tells Altaposten that they have come so far with most of the families that they have now begun the verification process.

This edition of Tverrelvdalen's family history will be so large that it will probably come in two volumes.

The committee has set itself a deadline of October 1. By then, everything should be ready and the goal is to get the book under the Christmas trees in 2014.

The 1995 edition has been digitized in its entirety by Our Roots in Canada, You can read it here.
