Last Sunday, NRK started the series «Who do you think you are» and Slekt1 has never experienced a similar week when it comes to the number of visits. Normally, the site has 2,000 visits per week, of which 1,600 are unique visits. In the week following the program, there have been 3365 (67% increase) visits to Slekt1, of which 2789 (71% increase) were unique visits. In other words, there has been a sharp increase in genealogical research activity online in the wake of this program, and Slekt1 is certainly not alone in feeling the impact.
