In 2007, Olav Finstad published the genealogy book Bolås-slekta, together with Bjørnar Myrseth. More than 3,000 people are mentioned in the book, which extends over 430 pages.
Finstad is now in the process of creating two more genealogy books, this time about the Kvamstrø family and the Finstad family.
