Since time immemorial, our long border with Sweden has been crossed, both ways, with hopes and dreams of a better life. Now the Sweden America Center in Karlstad and the Norwegian Emigration Museum in Stange have joined forces to create a joint Swedish-Norwegian database of the Swedes and Norwegians who immigrated and emigrated across the border in Hedmark and Värmland.
