Like our own National Library, indexing is done after much is better than perfect. In other words, a search does not always find what you were actually looking for. For example, a search on the surname Aarum yielded hits on the word «serum», in addition to several hits on the actual surname.
Despite the fact that the service comes from the USA, it is incredibly free. Many people have probably become accustomed to having to pay a few bucks to access archive material from abroad, but here you don't have to.
