Unlike in Norway, the Swedish National Archives publishes people in the searchable censuses when it is 100 years since they were born. Therefore, updates to the 1930 census are made in batches in Sweden.

In Norway, the blocking period for the census as a whole is set at 100 years.

Sweden's 1930 census is a valuable resource that provides insight into population composition, residence, occupations and other demographic data at the time. This digitized accessibility opens up opportunities for a broader group of people to explore and discover their Swedish family background.

Here you will find the Swedish censuses for 1860, 1870, 1880, 1890, 1900, 1910 and 1930.
