This is not Alf Eggset's first village book. He has already written village books for both Gauldal and Støren. What's special about the Alvdal publication is that this time the author himself has a background from the place in question.
In this book, we are talking about recent cultural history and the "line" for what is included was set to December 31, 2010.
Volume two, entitled "Vestate and up along Folla", is scheduled to be published as early as summer 2012. Volume three, entitled "Steien centrum og sørover" (Steien city center and south), has not yet been scheduled for publication.
