Earlier this month, Gard «Dutte» Strøm was awarded Skien Municipality's Culture Prize for 2013. He received the prize for his work on gamlegjerpen.no, a digital family and local history book for the parish of Gjerpen.
His website contains a total of over 15,000 pages of text and images and covers the areas from Luksefjell to Vallermyrene.
