Wanting visitors to the cemetery to know about his father's life as a war hero, a British son has had a QR code mounted on his father's headstone.
Charles James Davies died on August 17, 2012, at the age of 91. The former sailor took part in the Arctic convoys during World War II, in which more than 3,000 died between 1941 and 1945. The purpose of the convoys was to provide supplies to the Soviet Union.
Visitors who scan the code on Davies' tombstone are taken to a website (with music) that tells the story of Davies' life.
