On September 4, NRK is once again ready with the second season of the program series «Unknown heir». Once again, host Tarjei Strøm and genealogist Kai-Samuel Vigardt tell the stories.
Throughout the fall, we will gain insight into six different destinies, where it has been difficult to find heirs. Can Tarjei Strøm and Kai-Samuel Vigardt do again what no one before them has managed?

This year's edition of "Ukjent arving" (Unknown Heir) will visit Østfold, Voss, Bodø, Ukraine and Germany.
On Sunday, September 4 at 20:10, the premiere will take place on NRK1 (and in the online player the same day at 06:00), after which one episode will be released every Sunday for 6 weeks.

Episode 1: «The girl without a childhood»
In this episode, we get to know Tatyana from Lviv, Ukraine, who was abandoned in the forest at the age of ten by her sisters when they had to flee. She eventually settled in Bergen, but never found her way back to her family.
Episode 2: «The Sailor's Millions»
The sailor Arne was buried in a deserted church. He had traveled the world as a sailor, is there no one who can inherit the millions he left behind?
Episode 3: «The Cafe Host's Fortune»
The café owner in Voss suffered a stroke and lost his ability to speak. He was never able to say who would inherit his staggering NOK 15 million.
Episode 4: «The flower girl's greatest wish»
Evelyn's family disintegrated and the state never found any heirs for her. She lived her life envious of anyone with a large family, was her own family really that small?
Episode 5: «Born in shame»
At Slitu in Østfold, Bjørn Rudolf lived with the label «bastard» as he was born out of wedlock and given away to strangers. Is there anyone to inherit him?
Episode 6: «The boy who didn't exist»
Svein Olav's life was largely spent at «Emma Hjort's home» in Bærum, a treatment center for the mentally disabled. His mother wrote in her will that she had no heirs, but is there anyone who can inherit the «boy who didn't exist»?
