This fall, the Voss Village Book Committee plans to publish a new genealogical book for Vossestrand. Volume 1 of Voss bygdebok covers the family history of Vossestrand up to around 1900. The new book picks up where the old one left off and follows the family history right up to September 1 this year. Åsmund Ohnstad is the editor and collects the threads. Central to the collection of material, which is sent to families for checking, is the Vossestrand parish council.
If all goes according to plan, the new village book will be on sale before Christmas this year.
