Jafet Lindeberg – founder of Nome, Alaska

In Nome Bay stands a statue of Norwegian Jafet Lindeberg and Swedes Jon Brynteson and Eric Lindblom. They were called "The Three Lucky Swedes" and are considered the founders of Nome in Alaska.
