RootsTech brings together genealogists from around the world for three days of talks, courses and technology news. Attendees can choose to follow the conference for free online or meet up in Salt Lake City for a full conference experience with lecture halls and a large Expo hall with vendors and organizations in the field of genealogy and family history.

This year's keynote speakers include cultural personalities, sports profiles and social actors who share their personal family stories. The program is aimed at both beginners and experienced genealogists, with topics such as searching for sources, DNA, storytelling and the use of new technology.
