The local history book was launched on Saturday, March 12, and went on sale two days later at the municipal offices, as well as at Tolga-Os Sparebank and local bookshops. The 375-page book is written by Jon Ola Gjermundsen, Amund Haugen Steinbakken and Thea Sørensen and focuses on Tolga and Os from the Stone Age until around 1840.
"Volume 2 is completely up in the air, but of course we hope it will come," says committee member Kirsti Jordet from Vingelen to the newspaper Arbeidets rett (March 16, 2011).
