Convicted of murder with the help of DNA samples submitted by genealogists

In June, the first trial in which genetic DNA submitted by genealogists was used as part of the evidence took place. The verdict has now been handed down and at the same time sets guidelines for the future use of genealogists' DNA samples in the legal system.
